Kentuckiana, Lexington, and Central Kentucky Bluegrass Alumnae Chapters wants to support our local collegiate chapters in any way possible. In 2019, KAC established the KAC Scholarship designed to prevent suspensions due to a collegiate members temporary inability to pay chapter dues. Our mission has expanded and we are excited to offer this scholarship to more women in Kentucky. Applications are accepted on a monthly basis, and must be submitted before the 1st of the month you are requesting assistance for (due the last day of the prior month at 11:59 pm). ***Please understand this scholarship is for Chapter Dues only. It does not cover outstanding bills, nor does it cover any International fees paid to Headquarters.***
You can submit your application at any time prior to the 1st of the month, but the scholarship committee will not make a final decision until the submission period for the month has finished.
To apply for financial dues assistance, please complete the form below. Once completed, the committee will review and follow up as necessary. A decision will be made no later than the 5th of the month.
Requirements:
*Applicant must be an initiated and active member of Pi Alpha, Tau Omega, or Epsilon Omega.
*Applicant must be in good standing in the chapter (both academic and social)
*If a member is suspended prior to becoming an alumna member of AOII, assistance should be repaid.
*Applications will be presented to the Alumnae Presidents and one other appointed officer from Kentuckiana, Lexington, and Central Kentucky Bluegrass Alumnae Chapters. As KAC’s president is serving as chair, two appointed officers will sit on the committee of 6 during review. Otherwise, information will be kept confidential. Assistance funding will be submitted directly to the collegiate chapter on the recipients behalf.
*Preference will be given to a member that has not been awarded the scholarship previously, but you may apply whenever you feel monetary help is needed.
